We firmly believe in paying back our dues to the Society that we operate in.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibilities, UnitedHealthcare had under taken various activities some of them are,
- Blood Donation camp was arranged in association with Fortis Hospital. Employees also registered themselves as donors on the Marrow Donor Registry (India) in association with Tata Memorial Hospital
- Stalls were set up on festive occasions of Raksha Bandhan and Diwali in association with National Association for Blind to sell products like rakhis, diyas, etc. that were hand made by women who have lost their eye sight
- United Giving Campaign was started to support charities - Ashirwad/CHORD, Cancer Aid Society of India, Literary India, Make-A-Wish India, Nireekshana, Salaam Baalak Trust, Udayan Care – Orphanage, VIDYA Comfort School. This is a campaign at a global level across UHG companies where employees choose the charities to support In 2012
- We are embarking further in our Corporate Social Responsibility activity through fulfilling wishes of kids suffering from fatal diseases. Globally, we have tied up with Make-A-Wish foundation to join hands with them in making the dreams of hundreds of children to come true. A recent activity in Mumbai on this saw our employees contributing and participating in giving away special gifts to 6 children and hosting them for a luncheon program.
